Nurses will learn about psychiatric nurse advocacy while reviewing legislative issues (especially those of social determinants of health). Participants will create action plans for advocacy in their psychiactric practice/patient settings.
CNE Opportunity:
The Virginia Association of Community Psychiatric Nurses is approved as a provider of continuing professional development by the Virginia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Up to 10 contact hours will be awarded (4.5 for May 1 & 5.5 for May 2).
